Mick Pulver was born in Senaca, NY into a musical family.
His father was a barbershop singer and both of his brothers
are accomplished musicians. Mick began playing the bass
guitar at the age of 13 and was playing in bands from the
start. He went on to spend years playing in bands in
Florida, Oregon, Australia and California and touring with
such groups as the Mama and Papa’s. Three Dog Night, The
Allman Brothers Band and dozens more. Being a natural
leader, he tended to be the glue and driving force behind
his groups.
While this was happening, Mick spent his 20’s 30’and 40’s on
a spiritual and personal development path. He learned from
great teachers and did much healing and self-discovery. For
over a decade he was in a Spiritual Community in Oregon and
India
With his teacher, Osho, playing music for thousands of
people. This is where his “rock and roll” side integrated
with his spiritual side. Along the way he grew through
participating in E.S.T., Lifespring, Landmark Education,
Primal Therapy, The Fischer Hoffman Process, Heartmath, is
trained in Vibrational healing massage, reflexology and
trained for one year at the renascent center(Kenwood Cal.)
in emotional release techniques. He has also taught music to
Aborigines in Australia for three years., and has been in
Californian for the last 20 years where in 1995 he founded
Breakthrough Performance Workshop. He found his gift as soon
as people started singing in front of the group, he could
see the blocks and issues holding them back and he had a
talent for supporting them in a safe, yet challenging way.
Since 1995, 1,000’s of adults, teens, and groups have
experienced this profound workshop and have expanded beyond
their wildest dreams.. Mick is an accomplished song writer
and greatly enjoys helping participants write songs. Mick is
very intuitive and has an extraordinary skill to coach
people in an empowering holistic way. He knows music and
people so well, that he has a talent for matching the music
and song to each person to bring them into an expanded
experience of themselves. . Recently he relocated to
Charlotte where he founded Visionary Voice in 2008.
